Strategic Foresight

Bring innovation into policymaking means looking at organisational and behavioural aspects of innovation, in particular, how to bring up ideas, convince colleagues and hierarchy and gather support and resources for their implementation.

It also requires looking at existing tools, methods and approaches of innovation in policymaking (e.g. anticipation, behavioural insights, policy design, (big) data driven policy development, design/system thinking, etc.).

The training will help policymakers get the latest knowledge and skills in these fields.

This training is under development with other services of the European Commission.

At the CCBI we promote the use of behavioural insights where relevant. We offer training courses within the European Commission and support practitioner networking and capacity building.
