I'm a project manager, designer and facilitator of participatory processes, with a professional background in public policy for social impact and urban planning. On top of that, as consulter I support Italian administrations through their public investments processes.
Moving from an expertise in European project management, I design and facilitate spaces where citizens, communities and institutions can think and decide together.
In participation, I work across a range of formats and apply them to urban regeneration, the reuse of public spaces, cultural policy and citizens' engagement in democratic life. Working with people is a constant in my practice, and so is the effort to bring together people who don't usually sit at the same table.
I'm also active at territorial level as member of an NGO that uses participatory design, action research and community-building with grassroots groups, institutions, civil society and market players. That experience keeps my practice grounded. Participation takes time, trust and a real willingness to share power, and it rarely follows the plan on paper.
My policy background shapes how I approach facilitation. I'm especially interested in what happens after the conversation ends: how deliberative outcomes enter institutional decision-making, and how processes can produce real influence rather than symbolic consultation.
